X Likes Gallery is a browser extension that helps you collect, view, and organize images and videos from posts you have liked on X (Twitter). The extension is free. Core collection and gallery features run entirely on your device. The optional cloud backup feature transmits media only to your own Google Drive, as described below. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
To build your gallery, the Extension reads post metadata and media (images and video thumbnails/URLs) from the X pages you visit and from X's internal APIs. This includes the author handle, post text, timestamps, and media URLs of posts you have liked. This data is used solely to display and organize your collection.
Your collected gallery data is stored locally on your device in the browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). It is not transmitted to us. One optional feature involves external storage that you explicitly enable:

Google Drive (optional): If you enable cloud backup, your selected media is uploaded to your own Google Drive using the restricted drive.file scope, which limits access to files this app creates. We never host your media on our servers; files live only in your Drive. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
X Likes Gallery is free. We do not process payments and do not collect any payment or billing information. If an optional paid plan is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated to describe any data involved before it takes effect.
Gallery data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the Extension. Cloud backup files remain in your Google Drive until you delete them there. We do not hold any of your personal data on our own servers.
The Extension is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy as the Extension evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and version above.
